    Rosi, thank you for your question. Yes, you can make a table of contents in Microsoft Word. However, the difference is that in Docs you can click on the header in the Table of Contents and it will go directly to that spot on the page. In Word, the Table of Contents is just text.

    thanks for all the instructional videos. Regarding TOC, is it possible to create an automatic TOC pulled from multiple documents?

    document A with heading 1
    document B with heading 2
    document C containing TOC like: docA-heading1, docB-heading2

      I’m not sure you have have any interest in using Google Apps Scripts, but the page below may help you achieve what you are looking for, if you’re still looking for it. If you’re not interested in scripting, I don’t think it should take someone who’s familiar with Javascript to complete for you.

      I’m not sure if links work here, so if the above link doesn’t work, you could google “stackoverflow questions 18285020”. Or, maybe Google Gooru could feature something like this.
